Family Fun Bubble Run 5K
The Family Fun Bubble Run 5K takes place at Villago Park in Casa Grande, Arizona. This event features a course that integrates music and bubbles, providing a recreational environment for participants to walk, run, or dance. The event supports various community programs, including a wellness clinic, a community garden, afterschool initiatives, and hot lunch services for those in need.
Participants can choose between two course distances:
- 5K
- 1K Fun Run/Walk
The 5K distance is chip-timed with real-time results and photos provided. Awards are presented to the top three male and female finishers across eighteen different age groups, ranging from 8 and under to 80 and over. Participants receive a custom finisher's medal and a custom dri-fit t-shirt, though there is an option to omit the shirt for a reduced registration fee. Pre- and post-race snacks, such as fruit, granola bars, water, and Gatorade, are provided on-site.
The event is held outdoors and proceeds regardless of rain. The venue is accessible for wheelchairs, strollers, and wagons. Leashed pets are permitted to accompany participants on the course. Due to the proximity of the parking area to the start and finish lines, no bag check service is provided. Motorized devices, skateboards, and roller blades are prohibited on the courses.
