Event Overview
The Maricopa Memorial Day 5K is the sixth annual running of this event. It takes place at Copper Sky Regional Park in Maricopa, Arizona. The race is open to runners and walkers.
Course & Location
The 5K course is described as spectator-friendly. The start and finish line is located at a large Ramada next to Copper Sky Lake, which is just east of the main recreation building at the park.
Participant Details
The event uses chip timing. All participants receive an event shirt and a custom finisher's medal. After the event, snacks and drinks are provided.
Awards
An awards ceremony is held following the race. Awards are given to the top three overall male and female winners. Age group awards are also presented for youth (17 and under), open (18-59), and masters (60 and over) categories.
