Family Enrichment Center's Run & Walk for Children
Family Enrichment Center's Run & Walk for Children takes place March 27–28, 2026 in Bowling Green, Kentucky at Ephram White Park. The event is held to mark the kick-off of Child Abuse Prevention Month and is presented by Family Enrichment Center. The weekend includes a family expo and a Pasta Party during packet pick-up on the Friday evening before the main events, followed by a free kids one-mile Glow Run.
The event program includes:
- Half Marathon
- 5K Run
- 5K Fun Walk
- Kids One Mile GLOW RUN open to ages 12 and under
Registration opens December 1, 2025. Half-marathon and 5K run entrants are chip-timed by Bluegrass Timing and are eligible for age-category awards. Registration fees for the half marathon and 5K run include a long-sleeve Sport-Tek race shirt, a finisher's medal, a Pasta Party meal ticket, and pre/post race snacks. 5K walk participants receive a finisher's medal, a poly/cotton race shirt, and a Pasta Party meal ticket. The Kids One Mile Glow Run is free; the first 200 registrants for the Glow Run receive a long-sleeve Glow Run shirt and a finisher's tag.
Race fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person or event. Transfers may incur an additional fee and must be completed by March 18, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
