Nuclear Fallout

Nuclear Fallout is a winter mud and obstacle event held on a permanent course near Brentwood, Essex. The event takes place across farmland and woodland and features lakes, bogs and muddy terrain with a mix of natural and man made obstacles.

Signature obstacles on the course include the Deathslide, a Travelator and a multi lane zip wire into water. Terrain and obstacles vary between sections of woodland, open farmland, lakes and mud, providing a mixture of climbing, crawling and water challenges.

Available distances include:

• 6 km with 40 plus obstacles and minimum age 14
• 12 km with 70 plus obstacles and minimum age 16
• 24 km plus Oblivion over three laps with 200 plus obstacles and minimum age 17

The races are chip timed. Every finisher receives a medal and a free finisher photo. Facilities listed for participants include hot washdowns, changing facilities, buoyancy aids available for water obstacles, free bag drop and a free car park. Spectators are welcome and an event village offers music, food, drinks and merchandise close to the action.

For younger participants, under 16 year olds must be accompanied by a paying adult. Entries are available for different formats and levels of completion, with options to walk, crawl or run at individual pace. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
