Event Overview
Nuclear Fallout is a winter obstacle course race offering multiple distances on a lapped course. Participants can choose from three main race formats.
Distances and Details
- Fallout - 6K: A 6 km course with over 40 natural and man-made obstacles. It is open to participants aged 14 and over. The estimated completion time is around 2 hours.
- Fallout - 12K: A 12 km course with over 70 obstacles. This distance is for participants aged 16 and over, with an estimated completion time of around 2 hours.
- Fallout Oblivion MAXX - 24K+: An advanced 24 km+ endurance challenge consisting of multiple laps. It features over 200 obstacles and has an estimated completion time of around 5.5 hours. This race is for participants aged 17 and over.
Course and Obstacles
The course is set on rugged farmland and includes woodland, lakes, bogs, and muddy terrain. It features a mix of natural and constructed obstacles. A signature obstacle is the Deathslide.
Event Features
All races are chip-timed. There are no penalties for skipping obstacles, and participants can complete the course at their own pace. Every finisher receives a medal. Included amenities are hot washdowns, changing facilities, a free bag drop, a free car park, and free spectator entry. Buoyancy aids are available for water obstacles.
