Event Overview
The Fall Prairie Fire Marathon takes place in Wichita, Kansas, offering a variety of road races through the city's central districts. The course is designed to transition from the banks of the Arkansas River into the downtown area, passing through historic neighborhoods and local parks. The event concludes at Equity Bank Park, which serves as the final gathering point for participants.

Race Categories
The event features four distinct distances, with several courses holding USATF Certification:
- Full Marathon (26.2 miles): A USATF Certified Race and a Boston Marathon Qualifier.
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles): A USATF Certified Race and a Boston Marathon Qualifier.
- Fall 5K (3.1 miles): A chip-timed USATF Certified Race.
- Mayor's Friendly 5K (3.1 miles): An untimed event focused on walking or running without tracked finish times.
