Event overview
The Cleveland Road Runners Club organizes the 50th running of the Fall Classic on Sunday, November 22, 2026, at Bonnie Park Picnic Area, Bonnie Park Drive, Strongsville, OH 44136. The event features two race distances:
- Half marathon
- 5K
Course and logistics
The course is a double loop, flat route run entirely within the Cleveland Metroparks and is mostly on the scenic valley parkway road. The half marathon course is USATF certified. The race field is capped at 1,000 runners. Organizers encourage carpooling to reduce impact on the park. Parking is available at the RTA parking lot at the corner of Rt. 80 entrance and Pearl Road.
Perks and awards
All participants receive a finisher medal and a 1/4 zip pullover, including 5K entrants. Timing is chip-based with live results. A Masthead Beer Garden at the race site will offer beer. Awards include overall winner, first master, first grand master, and top three in each age group (Under 19; 20-24; 25-29; 30-34; 35-39; 40-44; 45-49; 50-54; 55-59; 60-64; 65-69; 70-74; 75-79; 80+). Relay teams receive a runner belt.
Packet pickup
Packet pickup is scheduled on the Friday and Saturday before the race at local locations, and on-site the morning of the event. Friday pickup location: Masthead Brewery, 1261 Superior Ave, Cleveland, OH 44114. Saturday pickup location: Second Sole Lakewood, 18636 Detroit Ave, Lakewood, OH 44107.
