Fall Classic Half Marathon and 5K
The Fall Classic is a two-day running event held November 21–22, 2026 at the Bonnie Park Picnic Area in Strongsville, Ohio, within the Cleveland Metroparks. The weekend includes a 5K and a half marathon, marking the 50th running of the Fall Classic.

Both the 5K and half marathon courses are USATF certified and are described as flat and fast, running mostly on the scenic valley parkway road. The event is capped at 1000 runners. To limit impact on the Metroparks, participants are encouraged to carpool; parking is available at the RTA parking lot at the corner of Rt. 80 entrance and Pearl Road.
The weekend program includes packet pick up on race days, a 5K ruck, a kids dash, and an early start option for half marathon walkers. A new Foxy Challenge for 2026 lets participants race both the 5K and the half marathon across the two days. The half marathon accepts individual runners and relay teams; relay teams receive a runner belt to keep.
Participant benefits listed for the event include a finisher medal, a quarter-zip pullover for all participants, beer available from Masthead Brewing at the beer garden, chip timing with live results, and awards.
