Fall Classic
The Fall Classic marks its 50th anniversary in 2026 with a move to a two-day event format in Strongsville, Ohio. Organized by the Cleveland Road Runners Club, the races take place at the Bonnie Park Picnic Area within the Cleveland Metroparks. The courses are primarily located on Valley Parkway, offering a flat and fast route through the scenic park system. Both the 5k and the Half Marathon are USA Track & Field-certified.
The event schedule is divided by distance:
- 5k (Saturday)
- 5K Ruck (Saturday)
- Kids Dash (400m) (Saturday)
- Half Marathon (Sunday)
- Relay - Half Marathon (Sunday)
- Foxy Challenge (Saturday and Sunday)
The Foxy Challenge is a new addition for the 50th anniversary, requiring participants to complete the 5k on Saturday followed by the Half Marathon on Sunday. Attendance is limited, with each race day capped at 1,000 participants.
All registered runners receive a finisher medal and a 1/4 zip pullover. Participants also have access to a post-race area featuring a beer garden, with one beverage included in the registration. Timing is provided via chip results, and awards are presented for overall winners, masters, grand masters, and the top three finishers in various age categories ranging from under 19 to 80 and over.
