About the race
The FALALALA 5Kiwanis - MANSFIELD is an annual 5K run and walk organized by the Kiwanis Club of Mansfield as part of the City of Mansfield's Hometown Holidays festival. The event is scheduled for the first Saturday in December and is based at Run United, 650 U.S. 287 Frontage Road, Mansfield, TX 76063. The event was first held in 2010 and is framed as a community and family activity.

This is a chip timed event using disposable timing chips attached to race bibs. Packet pickup is available at Run United the day before the race and also at the venue on race day. Live results are published during the event by the race timing provider.
Awards are given for overall male and female finishers, Masters male and female (40 and over), and in multiple age groups: 8 and under, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, and 70 and over.
Registration notes state a November 22 deadline to be guaranteed a T shirt; shirts for later registrants are provided on a first come, first served basis. Registration fees are listed for both standard and student entries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
