Registration and race options
The event offers a 5K run and a walk option. The listed registration fees are $35 for the 5K run and $25 for the walk, with the run fee including chip, bib, and a T-shirt and the walk fee including a T-shirt only. The race notes that a chip/bib is recommended for participants who intend to complete the 5K loop and compete for time. T-shirt availability is not guaranteed after February 5, 2026; if a shirt is unavailable, an order may be placed after the event.
Awards and results
Awards include fastest overall male and female (one each) and age-group awards of three male and three female places in these categories: 14 and under; 15-19; 20-29; 30-39; 40-49; 50-59; 60-69; 70 and older. Results will be posted automatically on race day for participants who connect a Twitter account.
Purpose and beneficiaries
The event is organized to support advocacy for AME churches in the 6th district and to promote faith-based engagement among young adults. Proceeds benefit Jessye Norman School of Arts, Elevate Augusta, Bethel AME Church Young Peoples Division (YPD), Lamar-Milledge Elementary School, and Child Enrichment Inc.
