Faith Forward 5K
The Faith Forward 5K is a community running and walking event in Augusta, Georgia. The event takes place on Saturday, February 21, 2026, with the start located at the Paine College Heal Complex.
Participants can register for one of two options. The 5K Run includes a race chip, bib, and t-shirt for a $35 fee. Organizers state this option is intended for those planning to complete the full 5 km loop and compete for time. The Walk option costs $25 and includes a t-shirt, but does not include a timing chip; it is suggested for those walking with children or not intending to compete for time. For both options, t-shirts are not guaranteed for registrations after February 5, 2026.
Awards will be given to the fastest overall male and female runners. The proceeds from the event will benefit several local community and arts organizations, including the Jessye Norman School of Arts, Elevate Augusta, Bethel AME Church Young Peoples Division (YPD), Lamar-Milledge Elementary School, and Child Enrichment Inc.
