About the race
The Fairview Goat Run / Walk 2026 is a trail running and walking event held at Fairview Wine Estate on Paarl Mountain, Western Cape, South Africa. The event offers multiple trail distances through vineyards and fynbos slopes in the Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve, with longer options that include summiting Paarl Rock.

- 5 km fun walk
- Daniel & Friends - Push forward 5 km (wheelchair-friendly class, includes entry and T-shirt for the disabled participant; the person pushing a wheelchair or buggy does not have to pay)
Entry fees range from R700 for the longest distance down to R200 for the 5 km fun walk, with the Daniel & Friends class at R150. Kids up to age 8 walk free but do not receive a goodie bag. Most entries include a goodie bag and a T-shirt; entrants must provide T-shirt sizes.
Packet collection is scheduled on the two days before the event at a retail outlet and at Fairview Wine & Cheese in Paarl on the day of the event. Beneficiaries include Drakenstein Hospice, Daniel and Friend's Fund, Jurie du Toit Autism Centre and Ladles of Love.
