Fairview Goat Run / Walk 2026
Fairview Goat Run / Walk 2026 is a charity trail event at Fairview Wine & Cheese on Paarl Mountain in Paarl, Western Cape, taking place on 10 October 2026. The event is held within the Paarl Mountain Nature Reserve and follows routes that pass vineyards and fynbos vegetation.
Distances offered:
- 28 km trail route, includes summiting Paarl Rock
- 15 km trail route, includes Paarl Rock sections
- 8 km trail route
- 5 km run
- 5 km fun walk
- Daniel & Friends - Push forward 5 km wheelchair-friendly route with a T-shirt for the disabled participant
Standard entry fees listed include R700 for 28 km, R450 for 15 km, R300 for 8 km, R250 for the 5 km run and R200 for the 5 km fun walk. Children up to age 8 may walk free of charge but will not receive a goodie bag. The Daniel & Friends class allows entry for the other-abled participant and does not require the person pushing a wheelchair or buggy to pay or enter.
Beneficiaries named for the event include Drakenstein Hospice, Daniel and Friend's Fund, Jurie du Toit Autism Centre and Ladles of Love. The organiser states a commitment to donating most of the event income to charities.
