Fairford 10K
Organised by Running Somewhere Else, the Fairford 10 km road race is scheduled for Sunday 7 June 2026. Race headquarters is at Fairford Cricket Club, Park Street, Fairford, Gloucestershire GL7 4JJ.
The course follows the traditional route from the end of Park Street, west along Mill Lane, then north into Quenington. A descent on Fowler’s Hill leads to the bottom of the largest incline, where a drinks station is located. After the climb, the route turns right, heads south and downhill along Hatherop Road back into Fairford, loops through The Croft onto the High Street and returns along Park Street to finish outside Race HQ.
The race is run on country roads that remain open to traffic and is described as an undulating loop. Certificate of Course Accuracy is listed as 25/245. The event will be chip timed and is designated a Gloucestershire AAA County Race; licence number is listed as TBC.
Facilities at Race HQ include a water station on course, toilets, a secure baggage area and refreshments. A large car park is available nearby and organisers note a small donation to the Rugby Club for field upkeep would be appreciated. All finishers receive a medal. The course is not suitable for wheelchair athletes, runners with buggies or dogs. Entry is by online registration only and under 18s must be registered by a parent or guardian.
