Fairford 10k
Fairford 10k is scheduled for Sunday 7th June 2026 and is organised in line with the Fairford Festival. Entries are handled via Entry Central. The event is run by the local club Running Somewhere Else and finishes outside Race HQ at the Cricket Club.
The race follows the traditional measured road route. It starts at the end of Park Street, continues west along Mill Lane, then north into Quennington. Runners descend Fowler’s Hill to a drinks station at the bottom of the largest incline. After climbing back to the top, the route turns right to head south and downhill along Hatherop Road into Fairford. The course then makes a loop through The Croft, proceeds along the High Street and returns to Park Street for the final stretch to the finish.
A certificate of course measurement is available. Official course records are listed as 31:43 for men in 2019 and 34:49 for women in 2008. Past race reports and participant comments have noted organised marshals and an event t-shirt, and organisers acknowledged support from sponsors and partners for previous editions and anticipate working with sponsors for 2026.
