Fairford 10k
The Fairford 10k is scheduled for Sunday 7 June 2026 and is organised by the Running Somewhere Else club. Entry is handled through Entry Central. The race is held in conjunction with the Fairford Festival.
The course follows the traditional measured route. Runners start at the end of Park Street, head west along Mill Lane, then north into Quennington. A drop down Fowler's Hill leads to the bottom of the largest incline, where a drinks station is positioned. At the top of that climb the route turns right and continues south and downhill along Hatherop Road back into Fairford, then through The Croft, along the High Street and back on Park Street to the finish outside Race HQ at the Cricket Club. A certificate of course measurement is available.
Course records on the measured course are 31:43 for men (2019) and 34:49 for women (2008). The organiser thanks sponsors and partners for their support and notes plans to work with new and existing sponsors for 2026. Race coverage and participant feedback have commented on organisation, marshals and the event t-shirt. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
