Event details

The Fairford 10K takes place on 07 June 2026 and is a Gloucestershire AAA County Race. The race HQ is at Fairford Cricket Club, Park Street, Fairford, GL7 4JJ. Total places are 500. The course has a Certificate of Course Accuracy 25/245 and the licence number is listed as TBC.

Course and facilities

The 10K route runs on quiet country roads that remain open to traffic. The course is an undulating loop that goes out of Fairford and through Quenington, with a gentle downhill return into Fairford town centre. Facilities at race HQ include a water station, toilets, a secure baggage area and refreshments. A large car park is available close to the venue; parking is free with an optional donation requested for the Rugby Club. All finishers receive a medal.

Entry, timing and restrictions

Entry is by online registration only. Under-18s must be registered by a parent or guardian. Race numbers are collected on the day and may be exchanged between runners only with prior agreement of the organisers and before 1 June 2026. The race will be chip timed. The course is not suitable for wheelchair athletes, runners with buggies or dogs.

Prizes and results

Prizes are awarded 1st to 3rd male and female, age-category prizes (MV40, 50, 60, 70; FV35, 45, 55, 65), male and female team prizes (first three to count) and prizes for the first male and female Fairford residents. Results are posted on the club website after the event.

Entry fees

Standard fees listed are UKA-affiliated £17.00 and non-affiliated £19.00. On-the-day entries may be accepted subject to availability at higher rates. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
