Event Overview
The Fairbury Fair 5K and 2 Mile Walk is scheduled for Saturday, August 22, 2026. The event includes three separate activities: a timed 5K run, an untimed 2-mile walk, and a Kids Fun Run. All three activities start at the same location.
Event Details
The start and finish for all events is at the Fairbury Fairgrounds. Registration is required to be completed online; there will be no paper registration available on the day of the event. Participants who register on or before July 30th receive a free t-shirt.
Important registration information:
- 5K: Standard price is $30. This price increases after August 9, 2026.
- 2 Mile Walk (Untimed): Standard price is $30. This price increases after August 9, 2026.
- Kids Fun Run: Registration fee is $10.
Awards and Charity
An awards presentation is held immediately after the Kids Fun Run. Awards are given for Overall Male and Overall Female finishers, as well as in men's and women's age divisions ranging from 0-14 to 65 and over. All proceeds from the event benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
