Fairbury Fair 5K and 2 Mile Walk
The event takes place at the Fairbury Fairgrounds in Fairbury, Illinois. It includes a 5K run, an untimed 2 Mile Walk and a Kids Fun Run, all with start and finish at the fairgrounds.

Online registration opens January 16, 2026. Registration for the 5K and the 2 Mile Walk closes August 10, 2026; Kids Fun Run registration closes August 22, 2026. Registration fees listed by the organizer are $30.00 for the 5K and 2 Mile Walk and $10.00 for the Kids Fun Run. The organizer notes that there will not be paper registration on race day and that registration should be completed online prior to arrival.
Participants who are registered on or before July 30 will receive a free t-shirt. All proceeds benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. An award presentation is scheduled immediately following the Kids Fun Run. Award categories include Overall Male, Overall Female, and age divisions: 0-14, 15-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-64, 65 and over.
