Eyota Days 5K Road Race
The Eyota Days 5K is an evening road race held in Eyota, Minnesota, as part of the Eyota Days festival on July 17, 2026. The race uses a paved course that circles the small town and is marked for participants. Organizers note this is the second year on the current course layout.
The route begins on Madison Avenue, loops Westside Park, follows a paved trail along Highway 42 to the north, circles Whetstone Place and Sandstone Drive, returns south on the paved trail along Highway 42, loops Westside Park again, and finishes back downtown via Madison Avenue. Course terrain is fully paved and described as very well marked.
The event serves as a fundraiser to support the Dover-Eyota Eagles Foundation. Awards include cash prizes for the top overall male and female and additional awards in multiple age-group categories (for example: 12 and under; 13-19; 20-29; 40-49; 50-64; 65 and over). A rain date is scheduled for Saturday, July 18.
Packet pickup and the registration table are open in the evening prior to the race. A road race shirt is guaranteed for participants who register by July 1; style and design may change. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
