Eyeball The Wall

Eyeball the Wall is a running event held around Calgary’s Glenmore Reservoir with a start area at South Glenmore Park. The event offers three measured distances and a virtual participation option with a designated completion window.

Race entries include chip timing, aid station support, an official finisher’s medal and post-race refreshments. Real-time web results are provided by the event timing crew. Course maps and an interactive route map are published for participants.

• 5 km
• 15 km
• 30 km

The 30 km point of the full marathon and the 15 km point of the half marathon are often referred to as "The Wall"; the event provides an opportunity to experience that section of the course ahead of marathon weekend. Volunteer roles at aid stations can be exchanged for a race credit.

A virtual race option lets participants complete any distance within the event’s virtual window and submit GPS verification for results and a personalized finisher certificate. Virtual participants receive a special edition finisher’s medal, downloadable souvenir bib and access to online results and photo contests.
