Eyeball The Wall
Eyeball The Wall is a running event held around Calgary's Glenmore Reservoir with the starting location at South Glenmore Park. The event offers in-person distances and a virtual option for participants who complete a chosen distance remotely.
In-person distances:
- 5 km
- 15 km
- 30 km
Race entries include chip timing with real-time web results, aid station support on course, an official finisher's medal, and post-race refreshments. Course maps and an interactive route map are provided by the organizer. The 30 km distance corresponds to the point commonly called the "Wall" in a marathon; the 15 km point corresponds to the same marker for a half marathon, making the event a preparatory run for Calgary Marathon weekend.
A virtual race window runs from April 15 to May 31 and allows completion of any distance on a course of the participant's choice. Virtual participants receive a special edition finisher medal, a downloadable souvenir race bib, a personalized finisher certificate, online results, and eligibility for social media and photo contests. Virtual results must be submitted by May 31. Volunteer opportunities include earning a race credit by staffing one of three aid stations.
