Export 100 Trail Run, Export PA
The Export 100 Trail Run is a 104 mile out and back route in western Pennsylvania with 7,392 ft of elevation gain. The course uses the Westmoreland Heritage Trail and West Penn Trail and visits Morosini Reserve, Duff Park and Pleasant Valley Park during October foliage. The event has a 32 hour cut off.
Aid stations are located at multiple points along the route, including trailheads and park parking areas. Most aid stations provide heated bathrooms with running water for runners and crew, and are stocked with hot food, Tailwind electrolyte and typical ultra style snacks. Several stations are water only; a small number do not offer crew access.
Pacers may join runners after Mile 62 for the remainder of the race. Parts of the route on the Westmoreland Heritage Trail and West Penn Trail are open to the public and can have bicycle traffic, while the single track sections in Morosini Reserve, Duff Park and Pleasant Valley Park are runnable only. The course layout and aid station positions make many sections visible and accessible to family and friends.
Registration for the event closes on September 1. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
