Event Overview
The Exit Glacier 10k is a running event in Seward, Alaska, part of a race day that also includes a 5k option. The event is organized by Seward Parks & Recreation.
Location and Course
Both races start at the Resurrection Roadhouse on Herman Leirer Road (Exit Glacier Road). The course is an out-and-back route. The road will not be closed to traffic.
Bib Pickup
There are two options for bib pickup. One is on Friday, May 16, from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the AVTEC gym on 4th Avenue in Seward. The second option is on Saturday, May 17, from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Resurrection Roadhouse parking lot.
Registration and Participation
Same-day registration is allowed and will close on the morning of the race. The event is open to participants aged 3 to 100. The registration price for the 10k race is $35, with a discounted rate of $20 for participants aged 17 and under. Participants can expect professional timing services from Fall Line Fitness.
Rules and Guidelines
For safety, dogs are prohibited from the race area unless they are trained service animals. Strollers and kids' bikes are also not permitted. Adult volunteers are welcome to assist with the event. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
