Exit Glacier 5k/10k
The Exit Glacier 5k and 10k Race will be held on Saturday, May 16, 2026, in Seward, Alaska. The event is hosted by Seward Parks & Recreation. Both races start at the Resurrection Roadhouse on Herman Leirer Road and follow an out-and-back route.
Participants can choose from two distances:
- 5K Race ($25)
- 10K Race ($35)
Registration is open to ages 3 to 100. All participants will receive a 30"x60" 2026 Exit Glacier beach towel. Those who sign up by Saturday, April 4th will receive a custom 2026 Exit Glacier T-Shirt.
Bib pickup is available at two times and locations:
- Friday, May 15 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the AVTEC gym (519 4th Ave, Seward, AK 99664).
- Saturday, May 16 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Resurrection Roadhouse parking lot (Mile 0.5 Herman Leirer Road).
The race uses professional timing services. Dogs, strollers, and kids' bikes are not allowed on the course, though service animals are permitted. Same-day registration is available until 9:30 AM on race day. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
