Exbury Gardens 10K

The Exbury Gardens 10K is a road running event held in the New Forest, Hampshire. The course features a 10 km distance on a flat to undulating route that starts and finishes within the grounds of Exbury Gardens. Participants run through the surrounding countryside toward Lepe beach, providing views across the Solent to the Isle of Wight, before returning to the gardens.

The event is organized in partnership with Hardley Runners and various local community groups. The entry limit is set at 1,000 participants, and runners must be at least 15 years old on the day of the race to comply with UK Athletics rules. The race utilizes chip timing, with a timing strip attached to the back of each runner's bib number.

The event venue at Exbury Gardens provides several facilities for participants on race day, including:

  • Free car parking
  • Bag storage
  • Toilets
  • Refreshments
  • Pre-race and post-race massage services
  • Information point

All finishers receive a commemorative race medal, which for 2026 celebrates the magnolia trees of the gardens. While a medal is included for everyone, participants have the option to add a lightweight technical t-shirt to their entry for an additional fee, or choose to participate without one for sustainability or cost reasons. Every registered runner also receives free admission to the gardens after the event.

Official entries close approximately one week before the race date, though registration may close earlier if the capacity is reached. Transfers of entries to other runners are permitted through the online management system until the closing date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
