Course and logistics
Start and finish are at the park trail-head. The course follows the park trails in this order: Nature Trail (clockwise), Canyon Loop, Romero Pools Trail (.9 mile out-and-back), back to Canyon Loop, then the Birding Trail (one-mile loop) and return to the park road. 5.3 milers finish after the Birding Trail. Half marathoners continue to the Bridal Trail and the 50-Year Trail, then repeat the main loop to complete 13.1 miles. Water will be available at key points but all participants are advised to carry their own water. Timing uses a chip attached to the back of the race bib; runners must wear their bib on the front to receive an official time and to be eligible for awards. Bib pick-up is available at local Fleet Feet stores in the days before the race and on race morning. Headset use is permitted at the participant's own risk.
