Everyday Heroes Needed Race 2 Rescue 5K Color Run and 1 Mile Walk
This event is scheduled for June 12, 2027 at Stony Creek Metropark, 4300 Main Park Dr., Shelby Township, Michigan 48316, US. It combines a community road race on paved surfaces with family oriented activities and fundraising for child protection.

Check in, packet pick up, and day of registration begin on the day of the event. The event is staged as a community safety gathering with first responder participation from local agencies, educational material on child safety and online protection, music, an after party with food, and a final large color burst.
Awards include special medals for top male and female finishers in eight age categories, a $50 gift card for the first male and female finishers, and handcrafted medals made by local children for the first 100 finishers. Strollers and wheelchairs are welcome.
Registration details in the organizer information show a flash rate of $35 through March 1, 2027 and a regular rate of $40 from March 2, 2027. Children ages 6 to 12 have reduced rates and children 5 and under are free. Proceeds are donated to DMI, a 501c3 organization.
