Evergreen Lake Triathlon : June 28, 2026
The Evergreen Lake Triathlon takes place at Evergreen Lake in Bath, PA on Sunday, June 28, 2026. The event offers multiple options: Super Sprint Triathlon (youth and adult), Sprint Triathlon (including Aquabike and Relay), Sprint Duathlon, and SwimFest with three open-water distances. Racing age is determined as of 12/31/2026. Participants may enter one, two, or all three scheduled races with a discount applied for second and third entries. Camping is available at the lake and parking is on the northern grass lot across Benders Drive. Pets are not allowed. The event is sanctioned by USA Triathlon.
Courses, rules, and services
Swims are held in the lake with edge starts on counter-clockwise loops and in-water lifeguards on course. Wetsuit use follows USAT guidelines and depends on water temperature; wetsuit rules and final water temperature will be announced before race day. Bike courses use local roads that are flat to slightly rolling; Super Sprint is a 5 mile loop and Sprint is 10 miles (two laps). The run portion uses mapped gravel and field loops, with Sprint run done as two laps. Helmets are required and must be buckled before riding. Drafting is prohibited and no bike riding is allowed in transition. The race is held rain or shine. Awards are given to top three in each age group and several special recognitions are listed. A hot food buffet is provided for racers and volunteers. No refunds; deferrals to the next year are allowed with a nominal fee if requested in advance.
