Evergreen Lake Triathlon (Youth/Adult Sprint, SuperSprint, and SwimFest)
The Evergreen Lake Triathlon is a multi event race day held at Evergreen Lake in Bath, PA. The event includes Super Sprint and Sprint triathlons, a sprint duathlon, Aquabike and relay options, and a SwimFest with three open water distances. Athletes may enter one, two, or all three race sessions with published discounts for multiple entries.
Competition follows USA Triathlon sanctioning and rules. Youth and adult categories are offered; youth athletes are eligible from age nine under the stated racing age rules. Swim courses are open water in the lake with lifeguards on site. Wetsuit use will follow the USAT temperature thresholds; wetsuit allowances and prohibitions are set by measured water temperature.
Course formats are predominantly single loop except where noted. Bike courses use a 5 mile loop with the sprint covering two loops. Roads are described as flat to slightly rolling and will remain open to traffic. Transition areas and run loops are marked and marshaled. Parking is on the grass lot north of Benders Drive across from the lake.
Additional event details include no pet policy at the private lake, camping options at the site with reservation rules, custom awards for top age group finishers, a free hot food buffet for racers and volunteers, and a no refund policy with a deferral option subject to a nominal fee.
