Eve Carson Memorial 5K for Education
The Eve Carson Memorial 5K for Education is the 18th annual 5K held on February 15, 2026 in Chapel Hill, North Carolina. The event recognizes the leadership and community service Eve Carson demonstrated during her time at UNC Chapel Hill.
The program includes an in person 5K, a virtual 5K, and a commemorative T shirt only option. The route starts and finishes at Bynum Hall Circle on the UNC campus. Packet pickup is scheduled for Friday February 13 on campus and same day pickup is available before the event. Pre race festivities feature a performance by the Clef Hangers and the event will include vendors and family friendly activities. Virtual participants can join a Strava group to track their run or walk and compete through February 20, 2026.
Proceeds from the event will benefit the Eve Marie Carson Memorial Junior Year Merit Scholarship and the Pi Beta Phi Literacy Fund.
