Ethiorado 5K Run/Walk
The Ethiorado 5K Run/Walk is a community event taking place in Aurora, Colorado at 600 Telluride St. The course is a loop of approximately 3.1 miles on park paths and paved surfaces. Registered participants receive a race shirt and post-race refreshments; T-shirts will be distributed at the event.
Children age 6 and under may participate free of charge; free registration does not include a T-shirt, but shirts may be purchased at the event. The event is open to all ages. Participants under 18 must have a parent or guardian complete registration and sign the waiver on their behalf.
Registration opens August 15, 2026 and closes October 3, 2026. The listed registration fee is $80.00. Registration fees are non-refundable but may be transferred to another participant up to three days before the event. Optional donations can be added at checkout to support community initiatives.
The event will take place rain or shine. In cases of severe weather, updates will be posted on the event page and communicated by email to registered participants. The event is hosted by Ethio-Family Soccer & Athletics in partnership with Denver Medhanealem Ethiopian Orthodox Tewahedo Church; proceeds will support MEOTC church building and facility development in Aurora, including new spaces for education and gathering.
