ESTRS Spring Lake Park 5 Mile
The Spring Lake Park 5 Mile is a trail race held in Spring Lake Park Reserve, Hastings, Minnesota. The event takes place on Wednesday July 29, 2026. Registration opens January 1, 2026 and the field is limited to 425 runners. Entry fee is $30 plus the registration provider fee.
The course is a rolling five mile route run as two loops in a figure-eight. Surfaces include wide mowed prairie trails and single and double-track trails through the woods. Total elevation gain is about 310 feet, roughly 62 feet per mile. There will be a water stop after the first loop, approximately 5 km into the race. The course is marked with orange flags and is chip timed; participants must wear their race number and timing chip visibly on the front layer of clothing.
Race operations note that entry fees are nonrefundable and registrations are not transferable. The Race Director may modify or cancel the event for safety or other serious concerns; there are no refunds for cancellations. The race includes a giveaway sticker and post-race refreshments such as Domino’s Pizza, non-alcoholic beer, Coke, Ginger Ale and La Croix sparkling water.
The series is organized by Rocksteady Running and Twin Cities Running Company and offers limited reduced fee or comp entries for those in need. Results and course maps are published by the organizers. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
