Event
The Lebanon 10KM is a trail race held at Lebanon Hills Regional Park, Jensen Lake Trailhead in Eagan, Minnesota. The event uses chip timing and has a predetermined field limit of 425 runners. The published entry fee for the race is $30 plus the registration provider fee. Entry fees are not refundable, transferable, or redeemable for future events.
Course
The race is a two-loop trail course around Jensen Lake that uses single-track and double-track trails. The course is described as rolling with about 200 ft of total elevation gain (roughly 32 ft per mile). Course markings use orange survey-style pin flags, normally placed on the left side of the trail. A water stop is provided approximately halfway through the race, near the 5 km point.
Logistics and race procedures
Race numbers and disposable timing chips must be worn and visible on the front of the body; the timing chip is affixed to the back of the race number and should not be removed or bent. Parking is available adjacent to the trailhead, with the majority of event parking located about a quarter mile north at Chapel Hill Church. The event provides a marked course, volunteers, a small giveaway, and post-race refreshments including pizza, soft drinks and beer. Organizers reserve the right to modify or cancel the race for safety or other reasons. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
