About the race
Essex Triathlons at Hanningfield Reservoir take place at Hanningfield Waterside Park, between Billericay and Chelmsford. Distances include Sprint Triathlon (750m swim, 25km cycle, 5km run) and Standard Triathlon (1500m, 38km, 10km), plus Aquabike options and an Open Water Swim. Courses use woodland trails and quiet lanes, with run laps (Sprint 1 lap; Standard 2 laps) and cycle laps (Sprint 2; Standard 3).
The event suits both beginners and seasoned athletes, with no cut-off times. Features include secure transition, live chip timing, free parking, event medals, merchandise, snacks and drinks.
