The Essen Soul Run, organized by Team-Essen 99 e.V., takes place at Lake Baldeney. The course covers 14.2 km and passes through picturesque areas such as the bird sanctuary and along the bike path. The event offers refreshment stations and manual timekeeping via barcode.
Registrations can be made online, and late registrations are accepted until shortly before the start. There is no luggage storage, but changing rooms and showers are available. The award ceremonies are conducted according to age groups in accordance with the German Athletics Regulations.
