The Ermstal Marathon is an annual running event that offers various distances, including a half marathon, 10 km, 5 km, and student races. The event attracts both experienced runners and beginners. In 2024, the marathon will take place for the 14th time, but without the classic marathon distance of 42 km.
Instead, a new 5 km run will be introduced to motivate more beginner runners and younger participants. The event also includes walking and Nordic walking.
