Erin Walker Memorial Color Run/Walk
This is the third annual memorial color run/walk held around Central York High School in York, Pennsylvania. The event uses a 3 mile course run as two laps around the school grounds. Most of the route is on pavement, with a short section of grass that includes a small incline. A color station is located in the grass, providing a color splash twice during the course.
Proceeds from the event benefit scholarships for Central York students who are continuing their higher education. Regular registration opens on January 13 and closes on May 8; the listed registration fee is $25. Day of registration is available for $35, with cash preferred.
Packet pickup is scheduled at Fleet Feet York on May 22 from 11:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. at 1511 Mount Rose Avenue, York, PA 17403. Remaining packets can be picked up on the event day starting at 8:00 a.m. Fleet Feet is providing race bibs that include a $10 discount on a future shoe purchase.
Food trucks will follow the event and include Ritas, Let Us Know, Mad Dash Artisan Grilled Cheese, and Bricker's French Fries. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
