Erie Duathlon in support of the Erie Cancer Wellness Center

The Erie Duathlon takes place on 09/20/2026 with a start and finish at Pleasant Ridge Park in Fairview, Pennsylvania. The route follows county roads in Fairview and Girard and consists of a 5K run, a 20K bike, and a final 5K run, totaling about 18.6 miles.

Participants may register as an individual or as a two person relay team. Relay format pairs one runner and one cyclist. Relay registration requires one team member to register and name the team; the second member registers separately and joins that team by name. The event is capped at 170 registrations.

Registration opens on 01/09/2026 and closes on 04/30/2026. Fees listed for 2026 are $55.00 for individual entries and $80.00 for relay teams. The event lists Northwest Bank as the 2026 presenting sponsor.

The duathlon supports the Erie Cancer Wellness Center. The center provides free programs and services to people living with a cancer diagnosis, to those caring for someone with cancer, to people with a loved one who has cancer, and to those who have experienced a cancer related loss. Fundraising pages are available; participants who raise specified pledge amounts by set dates receive event apparel rewards. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
