ERC Scholarship Run / Walk In Memory of an Honoree
This annual memorial run and walk takes place on May 3, 2026 at Fleet Feet Montclair with a virtual participation option. The event raises funds for memorial scholarships awarded each year to two college bound seniors at Montclair High School who have excelled in track and cross country and demonstrated academic achievement, leadership and community service. The event marks the 14th anniversary of the memorial.
Participants of all ages and paces may run or walk. The event is not timed and roads on the routes will remain open to traffic. Registration is offered for a fee of $10, or participants may donate to support the scholarship fund. Everyone who registers or donates is entered in a raffle for a $50 Fleet Feet gift card. Maps and directions will be available on the day of the event.
Route options include:
- 8 mile memorial route passing several local landmarks
- 10K suggested route
- 5K suggested route
The 8 mile route will be marked with flags at every turn. Water and Gatorade will be available on the 8 mile and 10K routes at the corner of Park St and Mt Hebron Rd.
