Equalizer 5K
The Equalizer 5K is a 5K running race at Mohawk Park Shelter #3, 4301 Creek Drive, Tulsa, OK 74115. The event stages runners by age and gender rather than a single mass start; each age/gender group receives its own staggered start time based on the group’s state 5K record.
Start order is arranged in reverse by those record-based times so older age groups begin earlier and younger groups begin later. The exact start order is determined after registrations are finalized and will be posted at the event. A running clock will be displayed, but finish order rather than electronic chip times will be used for results.
The first ten individuals across the finish line will receive finisher flags. There is a water station located at about the halfway point of the course.
Registration and packet logistics are provided in advance and on race day. Pre-race registration is $25 through June 30, 2026; the price increases to $30 on July 1, 2026. Race day registration is $30. Packet pickup takes place at REI, 6939 S. Elwood Ave, Tulsa, OK 74132 on July 16 and July 17. Entrants receive TRC logo running crew socks.
