Engineered to Run 5K
Engineered to Run is an annual charity 5 km community run or walk organized by the Society of Women Engineers at the University of Michigan. The event takes place at The Grove on the University of Michigan North Campus on October 10, 2026.
The event raises funds for University of Michigan Health C.S. Mott Children's Hospital, with proceeds directed to Child and Family Life. The fundraiser continues a tradition that began in Fall, 1999.
The run is open to University of Michigan students and the general public. The event typically attracts around 300 runners. After the run there is a prize drawing and a photo booth, and participants are offered water and light snacks and other refreshments.
