Endless Summer - Birmingham
Endless Summer is a multi-duration loop event held June 26–27, 2027 at Catfish Lake near 4000 Belcher Dr, Birmingham, AL. Participants have a fixed number of hours to complete as many one-mile loops around the lake as they can. The loop surface is mostly dirt and gravel with a short grass section and about 120 feet of elevation change.

- 12 Hour
- 18 Hour
- 24 Hour
- 30 Hour
- 36 Hour
A Hang Pass is offered for people who want access to the site and amenities without running. Each runner will receive a tank and a sticker, with additional giveaway items planned.
An aid station at the start/finish will provide continuous ultra-style food. Meals are provided across the two days, with breakfast on day two and lunches and dinners on both days. Ceremonies will be held after each duration. Awards will be given to the top three male and top three female finishers for each duration; additional specific distance awards are planned, including a buckle for 100+ mile efforts.
Parking is at the Belcher Tract lot off highway 280, followed by a 0.8 mile walk or jog to the start/finish; organizers plan to rent golf carts or ATVs for shuttle service. Camping is allowed; participants are asked to keep camp footprints to about 10'x10'. Swimming, kayaking, paddleboarding, and floating are allowed at personal risk and are not part of the official competition. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
