End of the Road Half Marathon & One Tunnel 4 Miler
The event is a fall weekend in Waterfall, PA, staged on a closed section of the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The course includes long, unlit tunnels that pass through an abandoned highway corridor and open onto quiet rural roads framed by peak autumn foliage and mountain views. Runners use headlamps for the tunnel sections and encounter roughly five miles of tunnel running within the Half Marathon course.

- One Tunnel 4 Miler: 2.4 miles underground, Sunday only
The weekend offers on-site services and race amenities including professional chip timing with live results, fully supported aid stations, post-race food and beverages, overall and age-group awards, a custom finisher medal, and a 2026 long sleeve technical shirt with an upgrade option to a hoodie. Packet pickup is available at the host hotel, and the schedule includes optional activities such as a movie night on the turnpike. There are two-day challenge options that combine Saturday and Sunday races, and virtual race entries are also offered.
