Courses and logistics
- 26.5 miles - Trail Marathon, approximately 4000' elevation gain.
- 14.7 miles - Heavy Half Marathon, approximately 1600' elevation gain.
- 7.6 miles - The Face Challenge, approximately 1400' elevation gain.
Marathon and half courses share much of the route, including a loop in the Enchanted Forest ski area and an ascent of a steep ski slope called The Face, which has no trail and leads to the top of the Platinum lift. Aid stations are placed on course and will carry water, sports gels, snacks, and electrolyte drink; cups are not provided. Dogs on leashes are allowed at the start/finish and aid stations but are not permitted on course with runners. Racers must stay on the designated course; shortcutting can lead to disqualification. An alternate marathon route may be used if trail damage warrants. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
