ENABLED 5K Experience : October 11, 2026
The ENABLED 5K Experience is a community 5K Walk Run Roll held on October 11, 2026 at Queens Museum - Flushing Meadows Corona Park (New York City Building, Corona, NY 11368). The event is hosted by Re'tached, a registered 501(c)(3) organization, and supports a community fundraising goal of $5,000; $170 has been raised so far.
The program features an official 5K Walk Run Roll, an opening ceremony, adaptive athlete recognition, live DJ and entertainment, a sponsor village, family-friendly activities, food and refreshments, inspirational speakers, giveaways and raffles, and professional race timing. The course is USATF certified. The event is designed to be welcoming and accessible for participants who walk, run, roll, use prosthetics, or use mobility aids.
Participant packages include a custom race shirt produced in collaboration with Godspeed Clothing, a swag bag, a customized finisher medal, official race bib and timing, free finish line photos, sneakers and merchandise giveaways, and live/text/email results. Personalized bibs are available for registrations completed three or more weeks before the event; event staff begin bib pickup one hour before the event and last-minute registrants receive a bib number by text within about 90 seconds. Registration fees are non-refundable and are used toward race expenses.
