Emirates Villages Run Series 2026
The Emirates Villages Run Series is a nationwide running series that links seven villages across all seven emirates. The 2026 edition is the second edition and runs across a season from 10 October to 5 December 2026. Each event takes place in a different village, with the calendar listing Qidfa, Al Lehbab, Wadi Al Helo, Falaj Al Mualla, Masfout, Al Rams and Al Shuwaib.
The series offers three race distances that serve different participant groups and settings:
- 10KM Competitive Run, a timed race for faster runners and clubs
- 5KM Community Run, a timed distance for running groups and recreational runners
- 1.5KM Family Run, an inclusive distance for families, children and first-time participants
Participants may enter individual races or attempt the full seven-race series across the UAE. Finishing each race adds one piece to a seven-piece medal that represents each village and emirate; completing all seven races assembles the full series medal. A total prize pool of AED 1,000,000 is available across eligible race categories.
The series features a mascot named Rahhal, inspired by the houbara bird, who appears at events and community activities. The event is organised by the Emirates Council for Balanced Development. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
