Emeryville Navigation Challenge
The Emeryville Find-Your-Way event is a navigation-based running and walking activity held in Emeryville, California. Participants explore local parks, scenery, and historical landmarks while searching for specific checkpoints throughout the city.
Participants can choose between two primary distances:
- 5 km
- 10 km
The event utilizes a custom map that participants use to locate up to 30 different checkpoints. At each designated location, individuals or groups must answer simple multiple-choice questions related to the surroundings or local history. The format allows for participation as individuals or in teams ranging from one to five people.
The course route highlights the specific decor and atmosphere of the Emeryville area. The meeting point for the event is located at the intersection of 62nd St. and Doyle St. Following the completion of the course, refreshments are provided for participants at the finish area.
