Embrace Winter Run

Embrace Winter Run is an official Winterlude event at the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa on Sunday, February 14, 2027. The event offers multiple race options plus a new 6 Hour Ultra where participants run as many loops as they can within six hours.

• 6 Hour Ultra

The course is certified and can be used to qualify for the Boston Marathon. The route uses a closed, paved road and includes views of the Ottawa River, downtown Ottawa and the Canadian War Museum. Registration includes a personalized race bib; professional timing and race photography are provided. On course nutrition is supplied by XACT. Post race amenities include snacks and hot chocolate, and pre and post race massage, chiropractic and physiotherapy services are available from The Movement Co. Podium prizes are awarded to the top three male, female and non binary finishers. A discounted post race brunch is available at Mill St Brewpub, about 650 m from the event.

Important deadlines from the event information include a shirt deadline of December 19 and a medal add on deadline of January 15. Online registration is available until February 10.
