Embrace Winter Run

Embrace Winter Run is an official Winterlude event held in February 2027 at the Canadian War Museum in Ottawa. The event uses a closed, paved road course with views of the Ottawa River, downtown Ottawa, and the museum. The course is certified and designated as a Boston Marathon qualifier.

Race options include multiple distances:

• Marathon, 42.2 km
• Half Marathon, 21.1 km
• 10 km
• 5 km
• Kids 1 km
• 6 Hour Ultra, run as many loops as possible within six hours

Registration includes a personalized race bib, professional timing, on-course nutrition, race photography, and post-race snacks and hot chocolate. Pre and post-race massage, chiropractic, and physiotherapy are provided by The Movement Co. Podium prizes are awarded to the top three male, female, and non-binary athletes. A discounted post-race brunch is available at Mill St Brewpub with a 10% savings and a 650 m walk from the event; alcohol is excluded from the discount.

Results are published live at the finish and photos are available within 24 hours after the event. Important ordering and registration deadlines are listed for participants, including a shirt deadline in December and an online registration deadline in February.
