Event overview
The Elephant Trail Race is a multi-day trail running event in Port Macquarie, Australia. The 2026 event is scheduled for 17-19 July and runs across three days. The event website lists ten race distances and staged options that run over the event period. The organisers acknowledge the Birpai people as the traditional custodians of the land.

Entry pricing is tiered by date. Example prices for Early Bird, Standard, Late and Check-in Late windows are provided for each distance. Early Bird prices include a free shirt for distances from 25 km to 217 km. A deferral option to the 2027 event is available only for certain Early Bird entries and closes on 30 April 2026. Race services and rules
Mandatory gear checks are required for most races before competitors receive race packs; the 2.5 km kids race is exempt. Finishers of ultra distances receive buckles; other distances receive medals. Drop bags are to be left at the race hub and must be collected before the stated deadline. Transition tent sites are available to book for longer distances.
