Rett Run & Walk

This community run and walk at Checotah Sports Complex raises awareness for Rett Syndrome and collects funds to help cover future healthcare expenses for a three year old child diagnosed with Rett Syndrome in 2023. The event is open to participants of all ages and includes both running and walking options.

Event distances include:

• 5 km race with chip timing and medals by five year age group
• 1 mile Fun Run with a guaranteed t shirt for registrations by Sept 22

Registration pricing varies by date, with early bird pricing through the end of July, discounted pricing from Aug 1 to Sept 22, and full price from Sept 23 to race day; fees range from $20 to $35. Medals are awarded to the top three males and females in each five year age group for the 5 km. The City of Checotah is listed as the lead sponsor.
