El Matador Trail Races, Wooster Memorial Park - June 20, 2026
The El Matador Trail Races take place at Wooster Memorial Park on June 20, 2026. The event features two separately timed trail loop races: a 10 Mile loop with 1180 feet of elevation gain and a 5 Mile loop with 580 feet of elevation gain. Routes for this summer event are different from the Super Bull Trail Championships and include new trails and varied vantage points within the park. Expect dry trails, green scenery, and creek crossings.
Entry is limited to the first 200 registrants. Pricing listed for the event is $65 for the 10 mile race and $55 for the 5 mile race. There will be one aid station on the 10 mile course, located around the six mile mark, offering water, electrolyte drink, light snacks, soda, and similar items. Cold water and refreshments will also be available at the finish area; runners are advised to be prepared to carry water during the race.
Post race amenities include a prepared breakfast, drinks, music, vendors, and a photo area with props. All finishers receive a high quality medal and a premium tri blend race shirt.
