El Diablo Trail Half Marathon & 10k
The El Diablo Trail event takes place on Sunday 1 March 2026 on Jersey’s north coast. Distances:
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles; elevation 2096 ft; cut-off 4 hours; price from £42
- 10k - 10 km; elevation 700 ft; cut-off 2 hours; price £33
The Half Marathon starts at Les Platons and the 10k starts at Crabbe. Both races finish at Milano Bars. Entries include a race T-shirt, medal, insurance cover, a fully marked course, and refreshments at aid stations and the finish.
Course, kit and logistics
The route runs along coastal trails and includes Bonne Nuit Bay, Grève de Lecq, clifftop paths, Sorel Point, Mourier Valley, Devils Hole, Plémont Bay, Grosnez and L’Etacq, with steep climbs and descents and a downhill finish. The course is marked with arrows and barrier tape; GPX files and maps are provided.
Mandatory kit is checked at registration and includes trail shoes, a warm top layer, a foil blanket, a rain jacket if raining, a water receptacle of at least 1 L, a cup for drinks, calories between checkpoints, and a charged phone with What3Words. Aid stations provide water, Coke and sweets; participants are asked to bring a cup. An optional bus from the finish back to the start is available for £5; car-sharing, taxi lists and a community chat are also offered. The event is supported by True Food Sports Nutrition.
