About the race
The Eindejaarscorrida Leuven is scheduled for Sunday 27 December 2026. The race starts on Bondgenotenlaan and finishes at Mgr. Ladeuzeplein in central Leuven, where a large tent provides a place to get drinks after the finish.
There are four races:
- DCLA-kilometer for children under 9 years, no registration required
- 4 km
- 8 km
- 12 km
Registration is handled online with individual registrations (up to ten runners at once) and team registrations for larger groups. The entry fee is €15 per runner. The organiser limits the number of participants per distance: 4 km 1500 places, 8 km 2750 places and 12 km 2750 places.
There is no on-course supply or aid stations. For safety reasons dogs and child buggies are not allowed on the course. The city centre will be reopened later in the day; runners on the 12 km second lap may be taken out of the race on Ladeuzeplein to allow that.
Changing rooms and free sports-bag storage are located about 300 m from the finish (200 m from the start), with signposts from Bondgenotenlaan. Participants with a Belgian postal address receive their race number by post; others may collect theirs at the event tent. If a number did not arrive by 15 December the personal link from registration can be used to request a replacement; unreported replacements on event day cost €3.
Times are recorded by Racetimer and the finish is filmed as a backup. The train station is about 600 m from the start. Several paid parking options are near the route. Traffic measures apply; consult local authorities for details. The event has a cooperation with Park Inn by Radisson Leuven for accommodation.
