Eildon Three Hill Senior Race - 20 June 2026
The Eildon Three Hill Senior Race is the 65th edition of a hill running event based at Gibson Park, Melrose TD6 9SA. The course traverses the three Eildon Hills and is measured at 7.2 km with 510 m of ascent. The route is fully marked and marshals plus the Tweed Valley Mountain Rescue Team will be on the hill. There is no cut-off time to complete the race.
The course includes uneven and steep sections, so participants are advised to wear trail shoes. Organisers require all runners to carry a whistle. If the weather forecast is poor, runners may be asked to carry a waterproof jacket and something to store it in. There will be no water provided on the hill, so runners should plan to carry water in warm conditions.
Entry is online only. An early bird period runs until 31 January 2026 with reduced fees: £6 for Scottish Athletics members and £8 for non-members. Standard entry is available from 1 February until entries close on 17 June 2026 at the prices of £10 for Scottish Athletics members and £12 for non-members.
