Eighth Street Elementary Tradition Trot 5K
The Eighth Street Elementary Tradition Trot offers a 5K race and a 1 mile fun run. The event is held at Ocala Citizens' Circle in Ocala, Florida.
The route goes through Ocala's Historic Downtown neighborhood. Both the start and finish lines are at Ocala Citizens' Circle.
Packet pickup for all participants begins at 7:00 AM on the day of the race at Ocala Citizens' Circle.
Registration for the 5K includes a T-shirt, with size guaranteed for those registered by January 15, 2026. It also includes a goodie bag and eligibility for awards. Awards are given for overall male and female winners, overall masters (40+) male and female, and for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in numerous age groups.
The 1 mile fun run has two registration options: one includes a T-shirt and the other does not. Fun run entries include an entry bracelet. Age group awards for the fun run are also available.
The event supports the school's Parent Teacher Organization (PTO). The funds help enrich academic experiences, enhance extracurricular activities, and support school improvement. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
