EGID Dash: Run/Walk for Eo-mazing Kids
The EGID Dash is a primarily virtual run and walk held to raise funds for the EGID Guild at Seattle Children's Hospital Guild Association. The EGID Guild is a community of families and advocates that supports children with Eosinophilic Gastrointestinal Disorders through peer support, education, and funding for research at Seattle Children's Hospital.
The event format allows participants to join from anywhere after registering. Participants are encouraged to post photos with the hashtag #EGIDDASH2026 on social media to share their activity. Organizers also list local meeting spots so people in the same area can connect; a listed spot for this edition is Green Lake in Seattle, meeting in front of the Green Lake Community Center.
Registration for the event is free. Registration opens March 23, 2026 and closes May 23, 2026. Donations collected in support of the event are directed to the EGID Program at Seattle Children's Hospital; the organizer states that 100% of donations go to that program.
