Egdon Easy 10k
The Egdon Easy is a flat 10 km race held on 29 May 2027 that runs mostly on paths and cycleways around Weymouth's Lodmoor Nature Reserve and Country Park. The course is described as largely level and follows paths and cycle routes in the reserve.
Race registration, start and finish take place at the Coastland College Gym (ground floor), where there are facilities for changing, showering and refreshments. Limited parking is available in the college carpark; alternative public pay and display parking at Lodmoor is a short walk from the race headquarters.
The event is open to all runners aged 15 on race day and above. Entries are taken online via Stripe and it may be possible to enter on the day if spaces remain; paper entry forms and cash payments are not accepted. Race numbers are collected on the day. A GPX course file is available via Garmin Connect.
Prizes are awarded in male and female categories across Junior (under 19), Senior (under 40) and Veteran age groups including 40+, 50+, 60+ and 70+. A technical T shirt is available if selected at entry and all finishers receive a bespoke medal. Official results are published after the race and past results are archived online.
