The trail course is primarily off-road and includes water crossings, uphill sections, rocky and uneven terrain, and steep narrow trails through Doan Creek. The mile route follows neighborhood sidewalks and is described as stroller and family friendly. Both courses use public sidewalks and paths; participants should be aware of driveways and vehicle traffic. A small portion of the trail course includes road running.
Registration and fees are listed for pre-registration and late or race day entry. Pre-registration fees are Run $30 and 1 Mile Walk $20. Late and race day fees are Run $35 and 1 Mile Walk $25. Registration opens July 10 and closes October 15 for pre-registration. Mailed entries must be received by October 16.
Packet pick-up begins at 9 AM at EDWINS Restaurant on race day. Shirts are guaranteed for pre-registered runners and may be available on race day subject to supply. Awards are given to the top three men and top three women in each age group. Age groups start at 9 and under and go to 70 and over. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
