2026 Edmonton Heartbeat Run
The Edmonton Heartbeat Run celebrates its 17th anniversary at Hawrelak Park, located on Groat Road Northwest. This event serves as a fundraiser for the University Hospital Foundation, raising funds and awareness for cardiovascular care. The event encourages participation from individuals who have experienced previous cardiac events, as well as their families and co-workers.
Available distances for participants include:
- 10 km
- 5 km Run or Walk
- 3 km Walk
- 1 km Fun Run
Registration includes a commemorative cotton casual race shirt, though availability is not guaranteed for registrations made after early September. All participants are required to show a picture ID at check-in. Participants under the age of 18 must have a statement signed by a parent or legal guardian to take part.
