Edmonton First Responders Half Marathon

The Edmonton First Responders Half Marathon is a community running event at Laurier Park and along Edmonton's River Valley trails by the North Saskatchewan River. Now in its 14th year, the event honors police, fire, EMS and other frontline responders. Participants can run, walk or cheer.

Distances offered:

• 21 km Half Marathon - scenic River Valley route
• 10 km Run - suited to experienced runners and teams
• 5 km Run/Walk - for new runners and family participants
• 1 km Kids Run - short family-friendly distance

Each entry includes a donation to charity partners OSICan and the Canadian Mental Health Association (Edmonton Region). In 2024 the event raised over $21,000 to support mental health and resilience programs for first responders and their families. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
